Manawanui is an 81.3 ha sheep and cattle farm on flat to steep hill country on the outskirts of Feilding. During the 2009 school year the farm carried 16 in calf heifers, 450 Romney cross ewes and 50 weaner calves. The herd from Ngakaunui are wintered on Manawanui and returned just prior to calving.
